Let my terrible online shopping experience be a warning to others. My recent attempt to buy glasses was an absolute nightmare, and frankly, I'm not sure I'll ever attempt to order from Glasses USA again. The web site was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses! I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase, which meant I had to be sent an email just to re-enter information I'd already typed in on their silly website. The entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because this level of incompetence is unacceptable, and I desperately needed to get my order finalized without further hassle.
Customer: "I've just spent two and a half hours trying to order glasses from your website, and it's been an absolute disaster. I couldn't even type in my prescription and save it! Now I'm told I'll get an email to re-enter everything. This is ridiculous!" CS Rep: "I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you've experienced with our website, especially after investing so much time. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I truly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused." Customer: "Frustrating is an understatement. Customer: "A discount would be appreciated, but more than anything, I just need this to work. This whole experience has been a complete waste of my time."
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of a frustrating and time-consuming online shopping experience.
